Over the course of an hour, the North Haven legislators joined Corey Smith, a representative from The Salvation Army in the time-honored tradition of ‘Ringing the Bell’, greeting holiday shoppers with Christmas cheer, and handing out candy canes.

The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) announced today that the School of Education at Quinnipiac University is one of 39 providers from 16 states and Puerto Rico to receive accreditation for its educator preparation programs.
Quinnipiac University’s School of Medicine to host Dermatology in Education, Research and Medicine (D.E.R.M) conference, ‘Dermatology in Historically Marginalized Populations,’ on Nov. 12
The conference, which is funded by Netter’s Inclusion and Diversity Council, will focus primarily on healthcare disparities in dermatology. The panelists are Dr. Alaina James, Dr. Brett Sloan, and Dr. Roxana Daneshjou.

North Haven to Receive Grant Fund for Local Improvements

Series of free intergenerational conversations between members of the LGBT community and their allies starts Oct. 21
