LWV: First and Second Selectman Debate

The debate will take place Wed., Oct. 11, 6:00 (note earlier time), Recreation Center, 7 Linsley Street, North Haven.

The League of Women Voters (LWV) of Hamden-North Haven invites the community to come to a debate among the contenders for North Haven’s First and Second Selectman: Republicans Michael Freda and William Pieper and Democrats Alan Sturtz and Sally Buemi. The debate will take place Wed., Oct. 11, 6:00 (note earlier time), Recreation Center, 7 Linsley Street, North Haven. Attendance at civic events in person has major value in our virtual age. For newcomers: The Recreation Center is across the street from the town library. Its parking lot is in the back and is always well lighted.

The League of Women Voters neither supports nor opposes political candidates. Members are men (since 1974) and women (since 1920) who wish to acquire skills that enable them to have input into decisions made by the individuals whom we elect to manage our public affairs.
