Last night’s annual St. Baldrick’s fundraiser held at North Haven Middle School was a big success. The event raised just short of $50,000 to help fight childhood cancer. The top single donor was current 3rd Selectman Alan Sturtz, who together with his son Jonathan, raised $2,379. The top team totals were Team Ridge Road ($18,971) and the team from North Haven Middle School ($9,017). A complete list of participants, teams and totals can be found here. A big thank you goes out to everyone who participated and all the volunteers who made the night possible.
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. For more information, visit their website.
