State Representative Dave Yaccarino (R-87) received his 2021-2023 legislative assignments on Friday, December 4, 2020. It was announced by House Republican Leader-elect Vincent Candelora that Rep. Yaccarino will serve in the House Republican Leadership Team once again as a Senior Whip.
Yaccarino, reelected to his sixth term as state representative in November 2020, was reappointed as a member on the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee, as well as the Commerce, Executive and Legislative Nominations and Screening Committees. His new legislative responsibilities will begin at the start of the next legislative session on January 6, 2021.
“I am grateful to the people of North Haven for once again trusting me to be their voice in Hartford. I look forward to the upcoming legislative session and to returning to my assigned committees so that I can dive back into doing the people’s work. I will advocate on your behalf, do what is best for the most people, and work with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to restore fiscal stability and responsibility within our state,” said Rep. Yaccarino.
