The North Haven Democratic Town Committee held its bi-annual caucus this week, electing members to the governing body.
In addition to the voters returning to the 70-member body, Anna Cristina Boyle and September Baraquin joined the organization for the first time.
“I’m tremendously proud of the group’s quality this year,” said Walt Spader, DTC Chair. “The breadth of experience and capability we have can only help the town.
Boyle is a 2008 graduate of North Haven High School, and a UConn Law School student. She is a graduate of the University of Chicago, and has experience working in the Governor’s Office of General Counsel.
September Baraquin is a music teacher in Stratford, and the mother of two Green Acres students. She holds a Master’s degree from Western Connecticut State University, and was an endorsed candidate for Board of Education in 2015.
The Town Committee is open to any registered Democrat in North Haven. Members are elected from each of the town’s five districts. Committee members are responsible for screening and nominating candidates for town offices.
