Quinnipiac University will host five information sessions in October and November for prospective graduate students.
Two sessions for individuals who are interested in the nursing and nurse anesthesia programs in the School of Nursingwill be held at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1, and 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19, on the North Haven Campus, 370 Bassett Road. The graduate nursing program director, nurse anesthesia program director and a staff member from the Graduate Admissions Office will be available to discuss the programs and answer questions.
One session will be for individuals interested in programs in the School of Business and School of Communications. It is scheduled at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20 on the Mount Carmel Campus, 275 Mount Carmel Ave.
The session will feature information on graduate programs in business administration, MBA/chartered financial analyst track, MBA/health care management track, MBA/supply chain management track, information technology, organizational leadership, business analytics, sports journalism, journalism, public relations and interactive media. Several of these programs are offered through Quinnipiac University Online.
Two sessions are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 31 on the North Haven Campus, 370 Bassett Road. The first session begins at 9 a.m. and is for students interested in the physician assistant program. This session will feature a panel of students who will answer questions. The second session begins at 10:30 a.m. and is for students interested in programs from the School of Education, School of Health Sciences, School of Nursing or College of Arts and Sciences.
The second session will provide information on the following graduate programs: anesthesiologist assistant,biomedical/medical laboratory sciences, cardiovascular perfusion, pathologists assistant, radiologist assistant, nursing, nurse anesthesia, educational leadership, teaching, molecular and cell biology and social work.
The five information sessions will offer an overview about graduate admissions and financial aid. Students also will have an opportunity to participate in breakout sessions with the program directors. In addition, Quinnipiac University Online will offer information on its post-professional graduate programs in teacher leadership and occupational therapy.
